We had a great holiday, thanks to having two young daughters, and the love and generosity of our family & friends. The holiday began for Savannah by dancing in the local Christmas parade with her dance company.
After the parade she was congratulated by her friend Ariana ("Nana") Rassouli
for Charlotte, the holidays began on-stage singing "Hot Chocolate" - the picture is blurry but come to our house & I'll show you the wonderful video (oboy!). Here is Charlotte, 3rd from the right...
On Saturday night the girls (Lesli included) joined a neighborhood gang and went caroling. And you thought the Bloods and the
Crips were the only gangs in
Los Angeles. Here is the gang at our porch...
On Christmas eve, the girls wrote one last (desperate ) letter to Santa. Here is Charlotte pleading her case...
Christmas morning came early (6am) and the girls found their beloved "American Girl" dolls. Here is Savannah with her doll (Elizabeth) and Elizabeth's pet cat "Licorice"

Here we are in mid-feeding frenzy. I must say, though, that the girls were pretty well behaved (but then I'm their dad - grin)

I like this set of 3 pictures of Savannah. Different gift in each picture, but the same pose (grin)

Savannah modeling jeans from Aunt Julie. They make her look like a teenager - Aunt Julie, please buy clothes that make her look like a toddler if possible (grin).

For those who sent money, as you can see, it gets a big smile from Savannah

...and from Charlotte
And gift cards get big (if goofy) smiles, too! Here is Charlotte with her present from The Golbergs...
Here the girls are showing off two gifts - a dance machine from Aunt Julie and "Moon Sand from Aunt Linda. Sydney is just keeping watch on her herd.

Moments later Charlotte had created a Moon Castle with the Moon Sand....
Sydney got in on the action. Here she gratefully accepts a new chew-toy from Lesli

Savannah is thrilled that her subscription to Young Rider is renewed courtesy of Aunt Linda

Aunt Christine, I just can't explain how happy Charlotte feels about her Target gift card

A great smile from a little sister who got her own magazine subscription!

There is one in every crowd. Charlotte is that one in our family

After presents we sat down to breakfast, yet another delicious calorie-rich meal of the holiday. Clockwise from bottom left: Savannah, Margie, Van, Uncle David, Lesli and Charlotte
